Scholarship

Our parent charity, the Yusuf Islam Foundation, is making the Student Scholarship Programme available for the academic year 2023-2024. Please note that the school is not involved in the Scholarship Programme in any way and cannot accept any forms/paperwork to do with scholarships.

The Scholarship provides assistance to parents in genuine financial difficulty, whose children are academically gifted. Please visit the Yusuf Islam Foundation Website for further details.

The Scholarship is based on set criteria to obtain the most for students and the Schools. Scholarships can be up to 50% of a child’s school tuition fees, depending on the financial position of parents/guardians.

In order to qualify for consideration of the Scholarship award a child must:

  • Be an enrolled secondary school student of Islamia Schools Limited; or
  • Be a prospective student who has been accepted into the school with an offer letter from the school

To apply for the Scholarship a child must:

  • Demonstrate a strong overall academic background; and
  • Have a clear financial need.

If you wish to apply for a Yusuf Islam Foundation scholarship, please send an initial email to scholarships@yif.org.uk before 14th June with details of your school name (i.e. Islamia Girls School or Brondesbury College) and the name and year group of your child/ren. Please do this even if you have already previously sent an email asking about scholarship information. You will then be contacted directly about the application process. Please note that if you were awarded a scholarship last year this does not mean that you will be awarded another scholarship automatically this year. When sending an email please put 'Scholarship' in the subject line.
