Planned Facility Upgrades

The building which currently houses our Islamia Secondary Girls School was purchased in 1989. Although our school has been groundbreaking in its many achievements, the building itself is inadequate in many respects and urgently needs upgrading. The majority of UK schools, like ours, were constructed before the 1970s and many of these buildings are edging towards the end of their natural life span.

The demand for education within an Islamic ethos is overwhelming. Faith schools have had a good record of delivering high quality education and parents welcome the clear aims of our school which balances faith-based teaching with the requirements of the National Curriculum.

We believe that learning spaces should be inspirational and capable of serving the next generation. That is why we are planning a £2m upgrade of the current facilities to include such things as modern science laboratories, a new home economics suite and state-of-the-art information technology provision.

We want to create a highly skilled and forward thinking generation, who will contribute positively to the world. To do this, we need to ensure we have up to date facilities, to inspire our students and hopefully motivate them to be the pioneers of tomorrow.

We invite your financial support to help make the school a truly model educational facility that could have a positive impact nationally.

We would be only too delighted to hear from you if you would like to discuss donating towards the upgrade of our facilities. All prospective donors are invited to tour our site before making a commitment. Please telephone the School to arrange this.
